CAMPING is the only accommodation at the ranch, so please bring your own all-weather camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, pillow, flashlight, etc). Please note that there can be high winds that come through the desert, so bring plenty of strong stakes for your tent. You CANNOT tie your tent or hang anything from the trees in the orchard. We also recommend bringing earplugs for sleeping at night and for classes.
The weather in New Mexico at this time of year can be variable. Be prepared with sunscreen, sunhat, rain jacket, and warm clothes-the nights can get quite chilly! You may want to change clothes during the multiple classes throughout the day, please pack accordingly. We highly recommend that, as well as flip flops, you bring at least one pair of close toed shoes. Hot water and bathing facilities are available, please bring your own towel and toiletries. Many campers bring a basket or a bag to transport items from their tent to the shower area. Storage in the shower room is limited.
Hotel accommodations are available in Santa Fe. The La Quinta Inn (800-531-5900) is only 10 minutes from the camp.

MEALS - Three meals a day are provided for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Paper plates, cups, and plastic cutlery are provided-many campers choose to bring their own dishes. There is a kitchen, with stove, fridge, storage, and dish sink, designated for campers. Special dietary needs must be provided for by participants themselves (i.e. bring your own rice or soy milk, etc). We also recommend that you bring your own snacks to supplement!!!
The water on the ranch is from a well and is heavy in minerals, but entirely safe to drink. Some say it has a sulfur taste. We recommend if you have a sensitive system that you bring your own water. Coffee, tea, lemonade, and juice are also provided daily.
There is a wonderful market that is set up throughout the week of camp. Be prepared to purchase items with cash or check only!!
